Three Cases of Nummular Eczema Patients Treated with Cheongshimyeonja-eum Gagambang and Soyeom Pharmacopuncture

Abstract

|
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Cheongshimyeonja-eum gagambang and Soyeom pharmacopuncture for nummular eczema patients.
Methods : This study was conducted with three patients treated with nummular eczema at Cheonan Oriental Medical hospital of Daejeon university. All three patients were treated with Cheongshimyeonja-eum gagambang and Soyeom pharmacopuncture. For the evaluation of the results, we used Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) as an assessment methods
and took photographs of the lesions for comparison.
Results : After the medication, eczema lesions of the three patients were remarkably improved. The lesions were examined by the photographs and the VAS of pruritus and relating symptoms.
Conclusions : This study suggests that Cheongshimyeonja-eum gagambang and Soyeom pharmacopuncture could show effectiveness on nummular eczema.
